Kirsten Lawhorn, an elementary school teacher from seattle public school in the state of Washington shared about her experience learning at www.casaxelaju.com Spanish immersion program in Guatemala, Xela, Quetzaltenango, over the course of three weeks. She stated that it helped her to improve her spanish and understand the culture. Now she is able to communicate better with her latinos parents at her school.
